Wednesday - Jan 9, 2013
7th Grade: 1/2 period work day to make sure students have every last chance to get any late work in or redo any tests and quizzes they might want a better score on. After the work time, students read their takes on the theme from the story "Hearts and Hands". We discussed how nearly everyone missed the surprise ending's real meaning, and if that might have changed their perspective. Good discussion!
8th Grade: Make-up work time for most of the period. Then we continued reading "The Tell Tale Heart."
10th Grade: We finally finished up our Greek Presentations! The remainder of the period was spent on a work day for the students.
History: Continued taking notes on the Origins of the Constitution Powerpoint. There will be a test on this information at the start of next semester. Please get any notes missed from Mr. Hawley's laptop during homeroom, tutoring, lunch. or before school!
Today is the last day for latework! I will not accept it after 4:00 this afternoon.
