1st - Creative Writing:
Write an essay with lots of visual imagery, personification, similes, and metaphors.


• Describe something from your past that you want others to be able to see in their mind’s eye as if they were there.

o Was there snow on the ground?

o Were you with a crazy friend?

o Did you have a cat or dog with a certain personality?

o What was your emotional state at the time?

o Who else played into this memory?

• This can be serious or funny.

• 2 full pages.

• Double spaced

• Typed

• Due Friday

Spelling is from List 10B.  Please complete the worksheets for the spelling words.  Due Wednesday

Journal entry:  All classes, INCLUDING Creative Writing:

Discuss a food memory you have.  This can be a favorite food, or something that makes you puke.  It could be about a time you went with some friends or your family to a restaurant and have fond memories.  Whatever.  Describe a food related experience.

10th & 12th grades, including honors 12:
Need to make sure they get the  notes about the Greek Morphemes from week 2 as well.  No homework for these.  Just add them to your running list of Greek notes.
